Jessica Goldthorpe l.Ac.

I've been working in healthcare for 18 years. I started my career at 18 as a personal trainer while I earned my BS in Kinesiology, fitness nutrition, and health. I continued my career as a personal trainer, helping people develop healthy habits for a healthier lifestyle while I pursued my MSTOM (masters of science, traditional oriental medicine) over the next four years in acupuncture school at PCOM in San Diego.

I graduated in 2012 and have been working as an acupuncturist combining my expertise as a fitness trainer, nutritionist and massage therapist to fully serve my patients. I had my first baby girl, Reagan Lucille July 8th 2016. Fast forward a year and a half later and I gave birth to my second baby girl, Emma Rose on February 9th 2018. And on November 24th 2019 we welcomed our third baby girl, Greta Anne. Pregnancy and becoming a mother opens a persons eyes and heart in ways that can’t really be explained. It has helped me to become an even better practitioner in a way that I never thought imaginable. I love what I do.  I love being able to share my passion for health and happiness and help people through acupuncture, through healing touch, through diet and nutrition- through integrative chinese medicine.

It has always been an interest and a desire of mine to find peace, balance, serenity. I have been on a life long journey of working towards that. I am innately hyperactive, diagnosed ADHD as a child. I have a strong will and constitution, but also deeply empathetic and loving. As a young girl, like many young girls, I grew into self consciousness, worry, and anxiety. Being aware of this, as young as 16, I started my conscious journey to find balance and peace. In that journey, I found holistic healthcare- eastern medicine. I truly feel called to this field of work. If I could do any other job, if money was no object, if there were no limitations- what would I do? I would do exactly what I am doing now. I realize I am only 36 years old/young and I hope to have many many more decades of learning, working, sharing and healing ahead of me. I am the person I am today because of the journey that has led me to this point. It is my good fortune because it makes me a better acupuncturist, a better human, who can connect more deeply to help people.

Pins & Needles Acupuncture- garage studio

The clinic space is warm, calm, inviting and designed with therapeutic and luxurious relaxation in mind. Life is thankfully bustling with many changes all the time. During the height of the pandemic I made the leap to release my space in the old town Acuclinic and bring my practice to a more personal place- my home. Our families detached garage is being converted into a single room acupuncture studio. When you come to the clinic you can expect to feel relaxed, cared for and at home the second you walk through the door. You should expect an attentive a full treatment. You work hard and you have somehow managed to squeeze in time to take care of your health in the most well rounded way possible. In turn I have taken the time to make sure that you feel my appreciation and enjoy your time in my sacred clinic sanctuary. A relaxed safe, positive environment with the wholistic approach of acupuncture will set you on track for achieving total health and happiness in every facet of your life.
